Spanakopita

Spanakopita Oh my gosh -- so good, I can practically polish off a tray in one sitting. The triangles are the perfect size for either entertaining or snacking -- not too big, not too small -- and you can bake as many or few as you like. In my opinion, the crust is the perfect flakiness and the filling the perfect balance of ricotta, feta, spinach and spices. I think this contains some dill, which I typically loathe, but nothing is singularly overpowering. No preservatives, artificial flavors or colors of course and just 60 calories/2g of fat a serving! Two thumbs way up.

Frozen Sliced Sweetened Cranberries

Frozen Sliced Sweetened Cranberries "We’ve taken bouncy, fresh from the bog cranberries, sliced them, sweetened them with just a touch of pure cane sugar (to bring out the naturally vibrant cranberry flavor) and then frozen them to preserve their sensationally tangy flavor. They’re ideal for making cranberry sauce, baking or adding bright flavor and nutritional benefits to smoothies. And they store like no other cranberry in our store, because they’re frozen. We’re selling a 12 oz. bag of Trader Joe’s Sliced Sweetened Cranberries for $2.59. "

Each 6.5 oz. box is $2.29."
