1 2-lb container Trader Joe’s Fresh Fruit Tray with Lowfat Vanilla Yogurt Dip (contains cut strawberries, mango, pineapple, cantaloupe, and honeydew) 1/4 cup light rum 1 Tablespoon sugar Pinch of ground cinnamon Pinch of ground nutmeg Mint sprigs (optional) Place sliced fruit in a medium mixing bowl. Stir in the rum, sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 2 hours or over night. To serve, place fruit in tall glasses (optional) and top with a dollop of the vanilla yogurt dip and top it with a mint sprig. Serves: 4
1-bag Trader Joe’s Wasabi Tempura Seaweed Snacks
1 Seedless English Cucumber, thinly sliced
3-oz. Trader Joe’s Atlantic Harvest Smoked Salmon
Trader Joe’s Wasabi Mayonnaise
Place Wasabi Tempura Seaweed pieces on a large platter, seaweed side down. Layer with a very thin slice of cucumber followed by a piece of smoked salmon and top with a small pea-sized dot of Wasabi Mayonnaise.
1 16-oz container Trader Joe’s Greek Style Plain Yogurt
1 clove garlic
2 small Trader Joe’s Steamed and Peeled Baby Beets
1 teaspoon chopped fresh dill
Salt and Pepper to taste
Place all ingredients in a food processor or blender for 30 seconds until smooth. Add a sprig of dill for garnish and serve with some raw vegetables and pita chips.
Serves: approximately 4
