| Artichoke RavioliPopular |
These are fresh ravioli, filled with a mixture of artichoke hearts, olives, ricotta, mozzarella, and parmesan cheese. I found them in the refrigerated case, next to the dairy and meat cases.
Preparation is incredibly easy. Bring a pot of water to a boil, add the ravioli, cook for 4-5 minutes, drain, and toss with sauce. I used TJ's Portobella Mushroom and Caramelized Onion Marinara sauce, and I thought the combination worked very well.
I really enjoyed the ravioli. The pasta came out perfectly al dente, and the filling was delicious. It was slightly chunky, with pieces of artichoke hearts in it. I liked this; it made them seem more like something that had been freshly made.
I got a 9 oz. package ("about 3" 1-cup servings) for $2.99. Each serving has 190 calories, 6 grams of fat (3 grams of saturated fat), and 250 mg of sodium. If you're serving these as a main course, the package will probably yield closer to 2 servings (there are 8 ravioli per package).
These are a great quick meal, and a nice change from standard ricotta ravioli. I'll definitely be buying them again.
