If you like fresh beets but don't like the work it takes to cook and peel them, then these are for you. They are already cooked. All you need to do is microwave them or cook them in a bag in boiling water or even grill them. The can also be served cold. They taste great!!!

Almost as Good as Baked Fresh Beets

I believe these are called Melissa's Beets. They have them at regular grocery stores, but they are half the cost at Trader Joe's. These are great beets. If you love beets but hate all the time and effort it takes to make them, then you have got to give these a try.

Absolutely fabulous

These are a weekly fix for me, and the package doesn't last nearly as long as it should for the price. Delicious cold in salads!

I love roasted beets, but these just didn't do it for me. Even though it takes some time (but not too much effort), I think I'll stick with fresh beets. These lacked some of the rich, sweet flavor that you get from fresh beets.

Great

I love beets in my salad or just tossed wtih minced garlic and olive oil. Huge huge improvement over canned and big time saver when you cant make fresh.

I agree with cristinb

I used these as a time-saver to make cold beet soup and was very disappointed... they have a slightly metallic aftertaste and not nearly enough sweetness.
