Chicken DrumettesPopular
These are chicken nuggets in the true Trader Joe's style: healthy and delicious. The ingredients list makes me feel good about serving this to my kid and the chicken is so juicy and tasty, I make extra for myself. I buy a box of these practically everytime I go to Trader Joe's.

Try tropping these (frozen) with your fav marinara and parmesan cheese and bake for fast and yummy chicken parmesan. Also great for tiny chicken Cordon Blues. Top them with honey ham (lunch meat) and sliced swiss cheese and bake until the cheese is melted!

great quick meal or snack

I really like these--it's hard to find an all-white-meat nugget. Try them dipped into TJ's Mexican Red Sauce--yum!

Nice and moist!

I cook these in the toaster oven and they come out with a nice crispy coating!

freezer staple

We love having these around for quick dinners for our daughter. They taste so good that we snag them for ourselves a lot too :-) I like that they are natural and not like the ones you find in the regular stores. I've also not had a problem with these coming out undercooked at all or be too greasy.

I wish my son would eat these!

I have been trying different natural chicken finger products, and, unfortunately, my son won't eat these. In my TJ's there are breaded chicken breast tenders in a larger bag that we enjoy much more.

Not so good

I thought the chicken tasted weird and spongy

I'm in my 20s & I love em! These are great for those lazy nights. Just toss in the oven and you've got good, natural tasting chicken nuggets. Delicious w/ honey!

Off Flavor

My mother and I bought these several months ago. We both thought that these had an off flavor and ended up throwing out what we had left.

Kids love 'em and no cheap filler soy in them!

We all know that the isoflavones in soy is can block thyroid hormone, so I avoid this at all costs. Most foods use soy as a cheap filler (think, Brazilian rainforests are being turned into soy fields), cheap processed filler is not my cup of tea. So I was thrilled to find a chicken nugget without any cheap filler in them! The kids love them!

I tried a few of these, and ended up throwing away the rest. They seemed greasy, and had a strange taste.

pretty good snack -- definitely not processed meat. they're a staple when i know we're going to be babysitting.

Gamey

Too gamey for me. That seems to be common with TJ's meats.

Not Good
Reviewed by evrguru, 2008-07-30

I have had the opportunity to try these "nuggets" on several occassions. The breading has poor flavor. It seems that old cooking oil is used when frying them in the production facility. Also, they are very greasy. They don't need to be. I hope TJ's is working to improve this product.
