Chicken Gorgonzola

(30 votes)
Rate this listing

My new favorite item is the Chicken Gorgonzola, it's best in the microwave, too dry if you make it in the oven. It tastes so gourmet just like an italian restuarant. It's moist, with chunks of tomatoe, and slices of mushroom. Yum-yum!

I've was looking forward to this but was disappointed to find toooo much garlic and not enough Gorgonzola. The sauce was kind of oily and I don't know if the gorgonzola just melted into nothingness or what, but I couldn't taste it. By the way, I love garlic, but this was overpowering. Reminded me of the garlic fries you smell at a Seattle Mariners Game--phew!

Just so good... the flavors. It was somewhat dry in places from the oven. Will try the microwave

i was tempted to purchase this today, but figured to wait for more reviews, given that it is about 7 dollars a box for this stuff, so come on people, if youve tried it, please review ;)

Be warned, there really is a lot of garlic here, but it tastes wonderful! I cooked mine in the oven, and didn't have any trouble at all with dryness. The chicken is drenched in herbs and oils, and the mushrooms are very flavorful! Very nice with a glass of wine.

I bought this last week and made it in the oven, the sauce was very thin but quite intense and didn't dry out at all. It could use a bit less garlic flavor and a bit more gorgonzola. The mushrooms and tomatoes are a nice addition. I served it over mashed acorn squash and it made a very nice dinner.

TJ's was sampling this with some of their frozen brown rice. Delicious! I didn't find my oven dried it out at all...

I get it all the time. I haven't had the problem with dryness in the oven though. I love to serve it on the whole wheat cous cous cause it absorbes that sauce. If there's not enough gorg. for you, you can always sprinkle some more on top because it does melt into the sauce. One of my favorites.

This was very good - enough for two! The flavor was very good - I picked the mushrooms out as I do not like - there did not seem to be alot of cheese though
CHicken was moist - I cooked in microwave.....very convenient
