 Lemongrass Chicken Stix
I liked these a lot. I love Thai food and these had a strong flavor of lemongrass. I cooked them in the toaster oven instead of frying and they were done in about 10 minutes. I would definitely buy these again. They need a sauce to go with them, I just have to figure out which one.

These also come in Coconut Curry

These are addicting when heated up properly. Follow the package directions and don't ruin them by zapping them in the micro. For sauce options, I used the Red Thai Curry sauce. Delish! The Trader Joe's near me had them out for sampling and they used the Sweet Hot Mustard that comes in a jar. Not a bad option but stick to the curry and the oven and you can totally make a meal out of it.

These are such a hit at our house. I baked them like the instructions said. Then I served them with the NEW Goyza Sauce that just came out. This will be a future demo item for us! Thanks for the other suggestions on dipping sauces!

I SAMPLED THESE AT THE TRADER JOES STORE. IT WAS EXCELLENT. I WILL BE SURE TO BUY THESE SOON!!

These are really good, although they are a bit heavy in the calorie department... but if you never have to watch your weight like me then you can eat boxes of em. ;) I would suggest a little duck sauce for the Thai ones and Mango Chutney for the Curry ones.

I thought the lemongrass flavor was overpowering. I'm hoping to have better luck with the curry stix.
I agree, these are very tasty.

I believe they would be better paired with a nice light sauce (similiar to the lumpia type sauce). Otherwise, this is an excelllent frozen appetizer.

My husband and I tried the Lemongrass version last weekend and polished off the entire box. The sweet thai flavors are obvious but not offensive. I do end up baking these for double the amount of time recommended on the package (I turn them over halfway through the baking process). They turn out crispier this way. I paired it with a 50/50 concoction of plain lowfat yogurt and TJ's Yellow Curry Sauce...it was the perfect dip.
I like lemongrass but I'd like to taste the rest of the ingredients a bit more. Still, they are far better than most egg roll types things on the market, and they crisp nicely in the oven. I agree that they need a sauce, soy sauce just really wasn't enough.

I also toasted these yummy sticks of lemongrass pleasures in my microwave before leaving my house for the day...i had the lemon taste on my lips for a while i am heading there now i hope they have them in stock!!

i liked these better than the coconut curry, which surprised me since i love coconut.

I love lemongrass, Thai flavors and I particularly like seeing them in something crispy, but these were so salty I had a hard time choking them down. The lemongrass flavor is extremely strong, which is usually a good thing as most packaged products use as little as possible to keep costs down, but that combined with the extreme salt content made them something I'll never buy again. Plus the chicken was awfully dry. Probably a casualty of the fact that (mostly Caucasian) consumers refuse to buy any chicken product that isn't "all white meat".

I didn't like the overpowering/salty taste of the lemongrass. If it were less overpowering, it might have had some flavor! I hope they make another type that is spicy and not sweet!

I, too, found the lemongrass flavor to be on the strong side. That said, they are a nice little appetizer/snack and I would buy them again.
I really love lemongrass, but these just aren't quite right without a sauce. I made a few yogurt concoctions but nothing quite right. My box has gone unfinished as they don't really appeal to me missing the sauce. I thought they were pretty dry.
I tried the coconut version and actually found it to be pretty decent. The lemongrass chix stix were completely overpowered by the lemongrass. There was no real flavor and no sauce could tame the flavor to make them more palatable.

i absolutely love them, except for the fact that once i got a bit of bone with the meat.
that was a turnoff.
I think the coconut curry version is a bit better, but these will do in a pinch.

Try em with the General Tsao Stir Fry Sauce!

Terrifically flavorful, crispy, and not too high in fat or calories

These were okay...a bit too much lemongrass flavor for me. I dipped them in sweet chili sauce which made them more tolerable.
