A really yummy peanut butter substitute that tastes about as good as the real thing! And it is only HALF the calories and has 85% less fat! Try it out, you won't regret it!

It's definitely not the real deal but has a sweet and different texture. If you are watching your fat and calories then this may be a good substitute but I'm a big peanut butter fan and it's not the same at all.

Anyone ever tried both and know?

I am a peanut butter enthusiast, meaning I like the ingredients to read as peanuts and salt, nothing else. I still open-mindedly tried this and it was awful. There is barely a hint of peanut flavor b/c it is heavily sweetened and the texture is really wierd. Buy the real thing, you'll be satisfied, plus fat isn't a bad thing.
To tjluva, I tried the sunflower butter, which is too sweet for my preference as well, but it tastes better than the Better N' Peanut Butter. Try the almond butter or both, remember TJ's have a no hassle return policy.

I bought this because I was curious. Oh yeah, and I am trying to lose pregnancy weight but am addicted to peanut butter.
I'm with the peanut butter purist. And this stuff is no peanut butter. Or even its 3rd cousin twice removed.
I'll learn to limit my portions of the Real McCoy, thank you.

Yeah - not really close to peanut butter (I give them credit for the "defatted peanut" part...some technology, huh?). But if you embrace this for what it really is...a sorta peanut-like sweetened spread...it's O.K. Don't expect peanut butter, but it's O.K. when used in a PB & J - it melts a bit on warm toast. I think it's alright. :)

I agree with the others, this goop doesn't come CLOSE to real peanut butter. Save your money and buy the real thing. Even put on ww bread with jelly it's icky

It's not really a peanut butter substitute, that's for sure, but it is nutritious. I used to use it mix a tablespoon or two in with oatmeal for breakfast (which I still would if I didn't get gluten intolerence and the only safe oats have to be ordered from like Canada, but I digress). Anyway, that's really good and a very very energizing, stick-to-your-ribs but low-cal breakfast. So I recommend doing that with your jar if it's just not working as a peanut butter for you.

Sorry but I disagree with most of you...I love this product...Put a thin layer of this on Sonoma Carb Sutting Tortillias and microwave for 4 seconds...YUMMY...and so healthy.
The skippy stuff just taste so unhealthy and oily to me know. Unfortunately, the food market has made us carve the unhealthy stuff because thats what we are so use to...Please keep this on the shelves!

IMHO it really is better than peanut butter. Excellent choice for those of us on restrictive diets.

I too prefer regular peanut butter.Anytime they fool with regular peanut butter to reduce fat and calories,it invaribly ends up with an odd texture, color and flavor and full of stabilizers, etc.Peanuts and salt, thats all you need.
Spread it on toast! I believe only 1 point on Weight Watchers per tbs.

If you expect it to taste like Peanut Butter, you're in for a real disappoint. I rather look at it as just another low-calorie snack option. What i've been using to satisfy my PB craving is PB2. Maybe TJ's will carry it one day

Doesn't taste like PB. I'm returning mine.

i'm addicted. use it in any other place you would peanut butter... sandwhich, carrots, celery, cookies... spoon, etc.
this tastes okay, but it's definitely a lot sweeter than regular peanut butter.

I've been eating this in a PB&J sandwich every morning. It's VERY good! The only problem is I have to drive 1 1/2 hours to my nearest TJ's, and this product is usually sold out!
