| Stuffed Peppers with Seasoned Turkey & RicePopular |
One of my favorite lunches. It's two large red bell pepper halves stuffed with ground turkey and a mixture of white/wild rice. The turkey/rice is coated with a very thick tomato based sauce--nothing runny in this dish at all. Has no turkey taste at all---definitely a good "clone" of ground beef.Microwave for about 3 minutes and they are ready. 420 kcals for the entire container.
I had read somewhere (here maybe?) that a lot of these fresh food items are only locally produced and distributed. Anybody seen these outside southern Cali?

These are absolutely delicious and I eat one (two come in each package) pepper twice a week at for lunch....one week it was my lunch for four days runnng. They are very well seasoned and are Weight Watcher friendly...very staisfying indeed. I truly hope this is a product that Trader Joe's will continue to carry. By the way, I buy them at our Trader Joe stores in Phoenix, Arizona.

Not bad

TJ's Stuffed Peppers are not the best I've ever eaten, but they are really not bad at all. I do want to cheer TJ's for making ready-to-heat/eat stuffed peppers so readily available...this is an item you can't always get so easily everywhere.
