This is sea salt from the coast of France. The crystals are relatively large, greyish in color, and somewhat moist. The flavor is very different than table salt and different than most other sea salts.

Be careful about using too much as it is strong. This is a bargain at about half the price as the same product sold in gourmet food stores.
