I don't know why this salt is red, but once you get over the strangeness, it adds a nice aesthetic touch as well as great taste. They also had Hawaiian Black Sea salt, but that was too strange.

A very powerful addition to your food. Just a few crystals are all you need. I'll try the black variety next week.
