Hawaiian Style Aged White Cheddar Potato Chips

Hawaiian Style Aged White Cheddar Potato Chips
These are thick-cut kettle chips ("Hawaiian style") with a white cheddar flavoring. The white cheddar flavoring is yummy; not too salty, with spices (including cumin and a little bit of cayenne) and cheddar, parmesan, and romano cheeses. In a nice change from most flavored chips, the flavoring powder isn't overwhelming. You can still taste the potato chip itself. Yes, you'll get a little bit of powder on your fingers, but you definitely won't turn your hands orange.

Nutrition-wise, they pretty much fall right in line with other chips. A 1 oz. serving has 150 calories, 9 g of fat, and 190 mg of sodium. They're lower in fat than some other chips; they even FELT less greasy than other chips I've had.

There were very few broken chips in the bag, which was a plus. Even better was the fact that the bag was over 3/4 full of potato chips, compared to other bags that I've seen that were mostly air. I paid $1.69 for a 7 oz. bag, which is definitely reasonable, especially when compared to the more common supermarket brands. In fact, the TJ's chips ended up being less expensive per ounce for a higher quality chip.

Will definitely buy these again.
