| Honeybush TeaPopular |
This is an herbal tea similar to the better known Rooibos, which Trader Joe's also sells. I never took to Rooibos which never satisfyed my taste buds and had a mild, unwanted sedative effect on me.I really love Honeybush. It is sweeter and smoother than Rooibos. I would say it is a deluxe version of Rooibos. More expensive, but worth it.

I'd never heard of Honeybush before but, boy does it taste good. Sweet and Earthy... mmmm. It turns out it's really good for you too-I did some research online and it is especially good for women's health and high in anti-oxidants. I'll be drinking this one for a long time!

Smooth and sweet

Now I know what all the fuss is about. This is a mild, smooth tea with a wonderful honey sweetness.
This tea comes from South Africa and is caffeine-free and organic.
From the box: "For centuries, the Khoi and San peoples have gathered the Honeybush leaves in mountainous regions of their native South Africa. This honey scented flowering bush make a luxurious brew with sweet honey overtones. It is rich in antioxidants, phytoestrogens and essential minerals. Try adding some lemon, honey or mint and enjoy."

I am generally not a fan of herbal teas. The only non-black tea I drink is chamomile. I will now add this tea to my favorites. Honeybush tea is one of the best teas I've ever tasted. It is really mellow and smooth. Lots of honey overtones. Very soothing.

Gone from the shelves

We love Honeybush as well. It has not been stocked for months. We are down to our last few bags.
I know that Tazo makes a Honeybush, but we love the TJ's one. Does anyone know who provided it for TJs?

Any info on when it's coming back?

Yes AnotherFan, I've noticed it's been gone for awhile now and I'm really bummed because this is my FAVORITE Honeybush! I bought the Tazo Honeybush the other day and it's ok but cannot come close to the TJ's. The Tazo is sweeter and more "artificial" tasting; I noticed there are "natural flavors" listed in the ingredients, whereas the TJ's is purely honeybush with a natural slight sweetness. Does anyone have any inside information on when this might come back by any chance? Thanks!!

They just created a tea section at my trader joes. I'll grab it the next time that I go. I'm so curious.
