First time I saw these banana crisps, I bought a couple of bags and I was addicted. They were so good - not overly sweet, not heavy and have a nice crunch. I literlally went to Trader Joes every other day for the next 4 weeks but couldn't find theml. It wasn't until two months after I gave up the serach that I saw a full shelf of them. Well, I left 4- 5 bags for the next guy/gal. Ten bags and three days later, I think the dryness and the greasy feeling starts to set in and I came off the addiction. Havn't had another bag since then. Still got 7-8 bags left. Glad I did it or I'd still be running down to TJ's every week looking for them.

It must have been an Asian ritual for some mom to give a child moving away on his/her own a rice cooker in fear of child starving to death. Well, I kept that rice cooker and ate noodles for many years until I saw these frozen rice. Now I can make fry rice, rice soup...etc in literally 5-10 minutes. I threw my rice cooker away during the last move after realizing there will be a TJ nearby.
