It really is! I love it for sandwiches. It's great warmed and dipped in olive oil and, perhaps, garlic. And, as per the previous reviewer, it makes wonderful French toast when stale. It doesn't get mushy and retains a chewy elasticity. The bread ages well and rarely gets moldy.

Veggie Meatballs
Wish they were firmer right out of the package. I usually brown them in a skillet with some crushed garlic and olive oil which helps some. Also good in a vegetarian version of Swedish meatballs.
