I'd marry this yogurt if I could.
Maybe a ring ceremony or something?... Fabulous. Esp with fresh Michican blueberries (that I picked, thank you very much) and some ground flax seed and honey. Honey, you'll live forever! :) byChicagoShopper, February 27, 2007
The Ginger People (the company that makes Ginger Chews) also makes candied ginger. YUM! I get the "Baker's Cut" variety. SO GOOD. A few pieces after dinner to help digestion. Nice and sweet and spicy.
(I have found the candied ginger at Whole Foods - competition...sorry) I know that TJ's also sells candied ginger, too. IF you have found that their ginger can be a bit "woody" or tough, this Baker's Cut variety is SO NICE and tender. http://www.gingerpeople.com/ byChicagoShopper, February 27, 2007
I brown them a bit in a non-stick skillet with a bit of oil. Then pour over a can of TJ's marinara sauce (green label). You can also add some of their frozen basil cubes...and a large splash of a good red wine. If you're trying to sneak in more veggies (and cut the starch), I have added thawed, drained frozen chopped spicach to the sauce before. And also I have browned some broccoli florets (adding several TBSs of H20 during cooking to steam the broccoli), then serve the meatball, spinach, marinara sauce mixture over the top of the sauteed broc. YUM! And no guilt! (unless you pile on the cheese! ha!)

Yeah - not really close to peanut butter (I give them credit for the "defatted peanut" part...some technology, huh?). But if you embrace this for what it really is...a sorta peanut-like sweetened spread...it's O.K. Don't expect peanut butter, but it's O.K. when used in a PB & J - it melts a bit on warm toast. I think it's alright. :)
