It's red because during the harvesting process 'Alaea is added. It doesn't change the flavor, but does change the coloring. 'Alaea is composed of over 80 different minerals that no other salts provide.

Make your meats more tender by marinading them in 1 Teaspoon red sea salt and water. Refrigerate for 24 hrs.
