I just noticed that the new bottle of the Midummer Night's lotion/cream is smaller than the original! The original, rectanglish bottle was 18 oz. for $2.49. They must have phased that out, after introducing the product (hence the discussion of whether it was discontinued), to switch to the new packaging. Well, the new bottle, which I bought this weekend is roundish shaped and has only 16 oz. for $2.49. Did they think we wouldn't notice?
Tarte Alsace
This was like something you'd get in an expensive restaurant "bistro" -- the pastry crust is amazingly flaky and light, and the ingredients are yummy. Put it in the oven and serve with greens for a light meal or a hot app -- people will think you are so sophisticated and really it was inexpensive and easy!

Five Layer Fiesta Dip
The black bean/cilantro flavor overwhelmed everything else, and the dip was watery...

I was excited to try this when I saw the price, and it smelled (actually there is faint herbal smell) and looked good. But when I read the ingredients, I see it has no mineral oil. The heavy duty (but more expensive) lotions like Lubriderm have mineral oil. I put the TJ on one arm and Lubriderm on the other, and the skin on the TJ arm dried out faster. I just wonder whether the absence of the mineral oil prevents this from being as effective a body moisturizer as those other brands?

Madras Lentils
This is pretty good, I agree (try it with the frozen nan bread), but tonight I had the Palak Paneer and thought it was the best!

I often have this for dinner - for $1.99, and you throw in some pieces of chicken, you have a delicious and fast dinner. Can eat it straight out of the box, no dirty dishes! I think this is better than the pad thai version, but maybe that is because I love peanut sauce. Either way, this is a great product for people on the go who need a fast dinner that is inexpensive.
