Blueberry Waffles
I like a little something sweet in the morning, but nothing sticky or too unhealthy. I also eat my breakfast in the car, so everything has to be portable. These waffles pass the "no topping test" for me. They have enough flavor and sweetness that no butter or syrup is necessary. I have one waffle, a boiled egg, and a can of V8 for a balanced and perfectly portable breakfast.

This stuff works great on my straight, fine hair. I do notice that the shampoo is not as slick as other brands and it tangles a bit after rinsing it out. The conditioner adds just enough softness and detangling. To be honest, I don't want my hair to be super-soft. It's so fine that "soft and silky" equals "limp and flat" and I can't get it to do anything. This removes all the garbagey product build-up and leaves my hair feeling light, clean and full of body.

Last year, I bought a box of these as an office gift, then got curious and bought a box for myself. Pretty soon, I was picking up a box every time I went to TJ's. Then the holidays were over and they disappeared. Now I'm trying to figure out if it would be excessive to buy a year's supply.

Apple Blossoms
I have to confess, I do miss the Chudleigh's Apple Blossoms TJ's used to sell, but only because it came in a package of four. These taste exactly the same, and I suspect there's a good reason for that. I like it with a little vanilla bean ice cream.

As part of a Thanksgiving appetizer last fall, I brought some Plugra butter in a ramekin to my sister's house. When we were done with the appetizers, I had about a quarter cup of Plugra left in the ramekin and didn't want to take it home, so I told my sister to use it in the mashed potatoes instead of regular Land o' Lakes. One bite and we knew- we could never use boring ol' regular butter in the potatoes again. Best mashed ever!
