Why didn't anyone think of this years ago? We're fans of what my kids call "smashed pretzels" and yes, what everyone says is true, they are great for snacking. They also hold their own with a meal; try with chili or chunky vegetable soup. Make sure you save a few of the Pretzel Slims to "scoop" out the last beans in the chili bowl...it's a great flavor combination.

This product doesn't thrill me...the texture and lack of visual resemblence to any naturally occuring food product is a bit of a turnoff.
HOWEVER, my son and his friends are crazy about "Booty" and eagerly consume any I put out for them when they come home from school. This doesn't stay in the pantry long. byLaurieB, December 9, 2006 byLaurieB, October 8, 2006
We are veggie/garden burger fanatics and think that the Dr Prager California Veggie burger is the best commericially prepared garden burger we have found. Unlike other products on the market, you can look at the burger and actually identify what you are eating - you can see the peas, carrots, etc... that make up the pattie. They are not excessively spiced and you can ramp it up or keep the flavor mellow depending on your menu. The Dr. P California style burgers are great served on a bun (i.e. TJ sprouted wheat) and topped with melted Lisanatti Soy-Station Cheese (another TJ favorite)and bar b que sauce. We have tried nearly every possible prep method and find the microwave works best.

I am generally not a fan of prepackaged mixes (salads, lettace, mixed vegetables, etc..) but I have purchased this 5 times and have not been disappointed. I stir fry the veggies with one or two frozen garlic cubes (from the TJ freezer case) and some Island style VeryYakiTeriyaki sauce. It's a healthy meal in minutes.

This is the hummus that turned my mother - who swore off the stuff decades ago-- into a hummus eater. It's great with the Harry & David sweet/spicy pepper relish and pita chips.
