Is it possible to be addicted to a cereal? Tonight I was getting ready to cook dinner, and I just couldn't do it...I had to eat this cereal instead. It's one of the best cereals I've ever tasted, if not the best. Delicious and crunchy clusters, perfect cornflakes...the only downside, if there is one, is that a one-cup serving has a hefty 240 calories and 8 grams of fat, though only 0.5 grams saturated fat. Still, the wonderful taste and mouth feel are worth it. I only wish Trader Joe's were more conveniently located so I could buy this more often.

How disappointing that the nutritional info on these was wrong. BUT, there's good news! Another company makes a similar product that really is low in fat and calories. The product is called Just Bananas, from Just Tomatoes brand. They're freeze dried, but look and taste just like banana chips, except I think they're a little better because they're a little softer--I mean soft like perfectly crisp bacon, not soft like chewy dried fruit. And there's nothing added--no oil, no sugar, no nothing. Trader Joe's doesn't have these, but you can find out where to buy these at justtomatoes.com. (It makes me wonder, if it's possible to do this without the added stuff and high fat and calories, why does Trader Joe's sell the bad kind?)
