I'm an avid Trader Joe's fan. There's a TJ's right across the street from my university so I go there almost every day for lunch or dinner or both. This whole banana crisp thing has made me very suspicious though. I mostly buy the lower calorie products as a means of dieting, but now I'm scared that all of my favorites are poorly labled. The two things that I'm most curious about are the Egg Whites Salad (and the Ranchero egg white salad) and the reduced fat Southwestern Salad. The egg white salad supposedly has only 100 calories in the whole container, but it tastes too good to me... any thoughts?? and the Southwest salad sometimes has so much cheese, corn and beans that I really can't believe there to be only 120 calories (without the dressing, that is).
Does anyone know an inexpensive company that does nutrition analysis? (I live in southern california)
