Ridiculously expensive for the bar. Want that much fiber? Get the moister, yummier, cheaper fiber cakes instead!
Basically a bar with so many little pointy bits and pieces of fibrous material that it loses its moisture and intended taste. :( A good try, but at the price point, I can do SO much better. byPammeh, June 18, 2008
The best part about TJ cranberries is that they aren't as sickeningly saccharine as most other brands--Ocean Spray and the Costco version come to mind. And as someone who will eat the whole bag in one sitting, it's important to have tartness without all that sugar. :) The orange zest is REALLY strong, which is good and bad--again, by the end of the entire bag, it gets tiring.

I believe these are the exact same thing as the Zen Bakery muffins for us West Coasters--certainly the look, calorie count, fiber, and ingredients are identical.
I actually prefer the taste and texture of the fiber cakes. The muffins aren't muffin-y enough for me, and they always seem TOO moist, bordering on soggy. byPammeh, June 18, 2008 |
