So,yea, the picture doesn't really show vegetables, but the NAME says with vegetables. What the hell, I'll try it. I had to laugh when the "vegetables" was really a few tiny pits of pimentos. I didn't find the taste to be anything too special. I would have to agree spicing up my own white beans would be just as easy.

It's a nice change from the regular lima bean succatash.

Love these. Very hearty and filling. I don't find these too spicy at all. The poblano is a very mild pepper. A nice cholesterol-free and lower fat alternataive to the regular beef stuffed peppers.
No veggies in this so I serve with roasted veggies and a salad with tortilla chips and a salsa dressing. Yum! byPandorra, February 17, 2008
I like the real thing..Peanuts and salt is all the ingredients should say. I abhor that weird Skippy and Jiff stuff that has added oils, hydrogenatead oils, sugar, and whatever else they add.
Yes, it will separate since it doesn't have added weird ingredients to keep it from separating, but you just mix it a bit every time. I pour off most of the oil. Great for peanut butter, honey, and banana sandwiches, peanut sauces, dressings, or soups. It's nice to have this available at TJs. byPandorra, February 17, 2008
I don't even like to buy this cuz I will eat the whole jar way too fast. So tangy Sometimes I just grab bread and spread it on. So good on vanilla ice cream, ice cream shake, grahm crackers, scones, toast, oatmeal, or blend with whipped cream and fill little tart shells....
Ahh, the pleasure... byPandorra, February 17, 2008 byPandorra, February 17, 2008
Can't beat the price. I have tried then when I am out of my Celtic Grey Sea salt. AFter getting used to grey sea salts, the chemically altered and stripped table salt tastes so bitter!! yuck.
This would not be iodized since it has not been stripped of its all its natural minterals. The reason table salt is iodized is because it HAS been stripped, and the iodine had to be added back in, but it is still missing all the other trace minerals that were removed. byPandorra, February 17, 2008
This is good on or in just about anything from salads, potatos, pastas, crackers, meats...you name it. I have even had people who don't like olives enjoy this tapenade.

I was surprised to find this and the black salt here. Pleasantly surprised. A beautiful, and mineral laden salt that has the wonderful flavor of unrefined sea salts. It makes for a beautiful presentations when serving meals to guests.
Much more healthy than the iodized table salts. byPandorra, February 17, 2008 byPandorra, February 17, 2008
Better like ginger to like this flavor! I do. And ginger has many health benefits. What I like about these bars is its not packed with refined sugar like so many of the other energy bars. Mainly raws nuts and dried fruit. Which means lots of Omega 6 fatty acids, potassium, vitamin E, riboflavin, b6, magnesium, etc.
I keep these in my drawer at work also and nibble on 1/2 bar if I feel a slump or junk food craving coming on. Not my favorite flavor of the Lara bars, but still good. byPandorra, February 17, 2008
So glad TJs has baklava for me. If it wasn't sticky, then something would be wrong with it since its full of honey!! I like the variety of types, but frankly, i never find them to be mudh different from eachother. I love them all!!

No hydrogenated oil! which I consider the devil when it comes to weight maintenance. The filling is waaay better than oreo also as it tastes more real or natural.
Not for weight loss or a health nut snack, but a good treat that is better alternative for the Oreo. byPandorra, February 17, 2008
These are always a hit when I serve these. I think people just like the idea of ice cream as hand-food. They are better when they sit out for a bit and the ice cream softens up.

No sugar added. The way a fruit juice should be. And both fruits so good for you. I add coconut water and club soda for a fruity spritzer or use it w/coconut water to thin out smoothies.
