I'm going to try this with the costco teriyaki meatballs (may be overkill) for Superbowl apps. I think I'll put it in the crock pot for keeping it hot.
Otherwise, if you were looking for a main course I would go with her Meatloaf recipe which is similar and delish!

I've was looking forward to this but was disappointed to find toooo much garlic and not enough Gorgonzola. The sauce was kind of oily and I don't know if the gorgonzola just melted into nothingness or what, but I couldn't taste it. By the way, I love garlic, but this was overpowering. Reminded me of the garlic fries you smell at a Seattle Mariners Game--phew!

I usually serve these with something neutral, chicken breasts, etc. The sauce is the kicker. If the sauce is too overwhelming you can remove a few of the little patties that melt into sauce and reserve them for another meal. Also, I believe the directions don't require cooking for very long at all. May be why the previous poster's turned soggy?

I used the ground turkey, and added chopped onions, I used only about 3/4 jar of India Relish (I used the rest with some of the corn and pepper soup) but 3/4 was plenty (India Relish is rich and spicy). I left out the corn (not a favorite of hubbys) I subbed Trader Joe's Japanese Panko crumbs for bread crumbs (I like the lighter texture with Turkey) and I reserved a little bit of the Apricot Preserves to spread on top of the loaf, then when it had baked for 50 minutes or so, I took it out and added the NEW Trader Joe's fried onions (they are better than the Durkee ones) Thanks Kathy great combo of flavors.

Adding the crab meat (Costco has wonderful King crab meat in a tub) and roasted corn. Then I thought it stilled needed a little something so I added just a tablespoon of the India Relish. YUM!

I just sampled it at T.J.s and thought it was better than the stuff I grew up with. I really like your Pesto/Feta idea, thanks!

Did you reserve some of the Apricot preserves to serve as a Meatloaf "glaze" on the top?

They come in a clear container usually atop the frozen sections. Little bits of crunchy pretzel topped with dark chocolate and little white candy bits. YUM!

I agree with the above poster that Costco's is better chicken but the T.J.'s sauce is better. Easy to make.

I went out and bought special large soup mugs for these because we keep it stocked in freezer. Great cool evening warm up! Taste is beefy and rich. The topping is wonderful. When I'm away hubby mic's them and enjoys them but I like the carmelized browning on the top!

I did notice in the last package less vegies and more sauce so I will def. remove a few of the sauce patties and save for other dishes. I disagree about soggy vegies another person commented on. Make sure you prepare these right at the end of your cooking prep as they only take a little while to prepare (less than 10 mins) DIVINE...my husband who doesn't like vegies, loves this dish!

I was so happy to find these in our T.J.'s today and got an unexpected bonus when the check-out gal told me to try adding a little Peanut butter when cooking and it really smooths out the spiciness (nothing wrong in my mind with the spice but you know not everyone likes it!) So I cannot wait to try a little dab of the peanut butter sounds glorious!
