I've been enjoying TJ's almond butter for a number of months now, but have found unfortunate information on it's actual "rawness", and what goes beyond that. There's also some info here that I found very disconcerting, concerning TJ's produce. Very NOT good stuff, but it's stuff that you should know. It's always good to check such information with multiple sources, of course. TJ's has been my favorite grocery store since moving to San Diego and being introduced, but unfortunately, I'm not going to be able to purchase or consume TJ's "raw" almond butter, or any of their produce anymore. Check out "walnutty"'s post here (post #12): http://www.rawfoodtalk.com/showthread.php?t=36734. Check out this link for a little more info on the whole
almond ordeal: http://www.livingtreecommunity.com/store2/articles/press_release_082707.asp. I'm guessing you'll want to do some googling afterward.
After reading that, if you aren't familiar with the "Great Irradiation Hoax", as I'll call it, you owe it to yourself, to your health, to read up on this nonsense that is propagated (like a great deal of the crap going on these days) through good 'ole fashioned fear mongering. Mmmmmm...fearlicious.
Here are some links on irradiation. It's not pleasant, but if we want to make things better (and stop things from becoming even more unpleasant), we have to face it.

Some of you may not like the first website, but don't let that stop you from googling.
