TJ's no longer sells Key Lime Pie. They discontinued carrying it just recently. The Reason was (they told me when I emailed them about it) because 1) it didn't sell very well, "Didn't move fast enough off the shelf" is how they put it. and 2) There were 'quality issues' with the supplier--this told to me by the local TJ's manager. I can't quite believe their first reason since almost everyone I know would kill for that KLP. The second reason, the quality issues, is more believable, especially after MaryContrary stated she got a sub standard pie. But, whatever the reason, TJs doesn't carry them anymore. SIGH. So, does anyone know of a comparable KLP carried by local grocers? And please do NOT suggest Edwards' Key Lime Pie Slices BLECH!
