Every chef I've ever known has used Plugra. 'Nuff said!

I mix the garlic packet with a cup of mayo and then dip the fries. This cuts the garlic attack. But I like fries with plain mayo too!

Fire Roasted Vegetables with Balsamic Butter Sauce
I serve this with a beef substitute (we're veg) and let the sauce run all over the beef sub. Sooo yummy, especially on a cold day.

Thai Style Soy Ginger Carrots With Toasted Almonds
They look and sound delicious, but there's some ingredient I can't remember off hand - shrimp powder? Fish sauce? - that makes this veggie dish non-vegetarian! What's up with that???

Vegetable Samosas
I cook these in the oven while warming up the packets of curries I also get at TJs, and serve with the mango chutney and some naan. After baking as directed, they usually need a hit in the mic to get the centers completely warmed. But they're crispy and delish, and my son loves them (and any way you can get a preschooler to eat veggies is a good thing).

I usually serve this as a side, sometimes with chicken substitute (we're vegetarian) tossed into it. I like to let it fry a little long so it gets crispy bits.

Frozen Mac and Cheese
My son likes mac and cheese, and when I make him this I eat it too! Yum!

Black Bean & Corn Enchilada
Perfect for a low-cal delicious lunch at the office.

I fry seitan or another meat sub, then cook this in the same skillet and mix for a tasty vegetarian main dish. Sometimes I top with a dab of sour cream and sliced avocado. Mmmmm...

Cashew Macadamia Butter
We loooove this at our house, but it's been missing from the store for a few months now and they just told me it was discontinued! Say it's not so... We've been buying a similar product at a nearby natural foods market for twice the price. :(
