I would give these an excellent rating but I think if you cook these according to directions you will find - as I did, that they need a few more minutes in the oven. These came out underdone and a bit gummy and b/c I had guests I didn't dare rip them from the table and put them back in. So, my suggestion would be give them at least 3-6 additional minutes. I will try them again.

Tarte Alsace
This is an amazing creation - so very dreamy with its uber light buttery crust. Paired perfectly with small delectable bits of ham, deftly caramelized onions and drizzled lovingly in creme fraiche. The combination is perfect. Simply bake it and enjoy with a lovely white and some good chums. Seriously, this does not disappoint – I serve it with grilled chicken and a nice spinach salad. You might love this.

Chocolate Croissants
Um...these are tres jolie, tres magnifique. Even one of my best friends (a French teacher no less) thinks these are excellent. Sincerely, these croissants are light, puffy, buttery goodness with a delish chocolate center. At night, after you've put on your pj's - just put these in the (cold) oven on a cookie sheet covered in parchment paper. In the morning as you make your coffee, pull them out, pre-heat your oven and pop them in. You are in for a treat my friend. Enjoy.
