Apricot Flan Tarte

★★★½
Four elements combine here to produce an almost perfect desert. The right amount of rich, creamy flan, flavorful apricots, a rich crumb topping, all topped on a buttery phyllo crust. Each element adds something special in terms of taste or texture. This tarte comes frozen, but already baked. It thaws out in about ten minutes and is ready to eat.

The only problem for me was that I thought the bottom crust was a bit to thick. Fortunately, the phyllo dough peels off easy and you can remove the very bottom of the crust, effectively halving the amount of phyllo. On the other hand, you may prefer it just as it is. Highly recommended.

I work at TJs and we had a demo of this for our customers three days in a row. Couldn't stop eating it!
