This is a Middle Eastern salad with chickpeas, black beans & tomatoes and is flavored with lemon, olive oil, mint and other spices. Very flavorful and delicious! I sometimes pick it up during my lunch hour for a quick lunch. I can eat it by itself, or, for a more "hearty" meal, spread some hummus on pita bread and top with Balela- YUM!

I love it as well as my 3 year old who picks out the flavorful beans and chickpeas.

I love this salad b/c it's so refreshing with all the mint & parsley. Plus it's not so heavy on the stomach that I feel weighed down after eating. Sometimes I add canned tuna for some extra protein.
Typically I grab a couple of containers each time I go to TJs. Last night, I did the same. It was awful!

The parsley was almost all stems and was wilted. There was no red-onion flavor, as I normally have and the dressing was non-existant.

I was very disappointed, but it won't stop me from getting it in the future.

I'm a big fan of beans and salads made from beans and this is one of my favorites. Healthy and filling.
