Black Truffle OilThis is the best oil I have ever had. It is pricey, but don't let that stop you from trying it. It is very rich, so a little goes a long way. I usually mix it with a little balsamic vinegar as a salad dressing. Yum!Submitted on 06/25/2006 by haileysqueek Number of people who have "favored" this: 0 Read all 7 reviews below -OR-Add your own reviewReviews (7)

Truffle oil is an essential in a muffin/egg/hamcheese thingy I make. And with a TJ's just down the street, I never have to worry about finding more when I'm out.

I hate to admit how often I dine on scrambled eggs w/just a dash of truffle oil. This stuff is really tasty--not just on eggs, of course, but also swirled into mashed potatoes or tossed w/pasta and parmesan.

huh?
I always have truffle oil on hand to enjoy the luxury taste of truffle. Sometimes I merely drizzle it onto steamed veggies. Mmmm...

i haven't seen this offered in the stores in a couple of years. i hope that it isn't discontinued.
truffle oil and truffles are very expensive, so this huge bottle for around 8.99 is an insane bargain. byalora, January 21, 2009
I loved this truffle oil, but couldn't find it at ANY Trader Joe's in the greater NYC area. For a while I had friends from CA ship it to me, but they stopped being able to find it, too. I miss it a lot. The competition is usually 3x more expensive, and absolutely no better.
