Brussel Sprouts and Mushrooms With Flavored OilI wanted to make a vegetable dish and this is what I came up with from stuff I had in my refrigerator. As for the truffle oil, I had some that I bought at a winery...I think walnut or your favorite flavored oil would work as well. And of course, just about everything can be had from TJs :) Olive oil 1 pkg. TJ's fresh Brussel sprouts 1 T. crushed garlic Dash white vermouth 1 pkg. Crimini or regular mushrooms, sliced Your favorite seasoned salt 1 tsp. herbes de Provence Flavored oil, to taste (I used white truffle oil) Cut each sprout in half. Heat olive oil in a large skillet or wok. Add sprouts; saute stirring until the cut sides begin to brown. Add garlic and vermouth; stir until you smell garlic. Reduce heat; cover and steam 3 minutes. Turn heat back up and add mushrooms and seasonings; stir until mushrooms are just done. Remove from heat and drizzle with oil.
