Chicken Empanaditas(11 votes) I found them to be good, but heavy on the pastry and light on the filling. The pastry was flaky and good but overcame the paltry amount of filling. I think these could be REALLY good if they just changed the proportions a bit. With that said, I suppose with some salsa on the side or something they would be fine. I was really hoping I would like these, but they had too much pastry and not enough filling. If I didn't read the label, I wouldn't guess that chicken is an ingredient. They're not terrible, but definitely something you can pass on.

The pastry was tasty and they were strangely addictive (the more I ate, the more I wanted to eat)...
...but like the other two said, it is something you can pass on, just because. There was chicken in them? Who knew? |
