Chocolate Orange Sticks(38 votes)Rate this listing You can find these with the other boxed cookies and chocolates. They're dark chocolate covered orange gel candies. Each chocolate is approximately 1.5 inches in length. The gel center has the consistency ofSunkist Fruit Gels but are made with natural orange oil so they don't taste artificial. I bought these on a whim while shopping for fresh food supplies to stock up my dorm room. Keep them in the fridge or even the freezer for best taste ( I like cold crisp chocolate, not melting). They cost $2.99 for a 18oz. (1lb 2oz) plastic tub and are delicious. There are 150 calories in 4 sticks. Great for chocolate cravings: chocolate with a twist! A must for dark chocolate lovers like myself. Submitted on 10/ 2/2006 by Temperance

I find the chocolate coating to be too thick in relation to the gel. Too bad, because otherwise, these would be amazing.

Personally, I don't like gel candy, so when I buy them for my family, I simply suck the chocolate off, ha ha!But my husband and mom eat these ALL the time! My mom goes through a container a week!

I'm not a fan of orange but love the raspberry. I like em best at room temp. The flavor really stands out better than when they're cold.
... these are amazing!! I *love* chocolate and orange together, and these were so much better than I expected. I usually don't like the gel candies either, preferring real candied orange peel covered with chocolate. The gel filling in these, though, has good, strong, not fake orange flavor. Hubby didn't think he'd like them at all and he was surprised at how good they were... now I have to hide them from him!!

I think these were one of the first things I ever bought at TJs years ago. The pineapple ones are tasty, too!
Prepare to abandon restraint once you open the box...these are not too sweet - but I find the chewy texture and combination of flavors really addictive.
