Chopped Basil
This makes an outstanding substitute for fresh basil. It tastes so much better than dried basil, and it keeps much longer than the fresh stuff.

I love their chopped and frozen basil, cilantro and parsley. While nothing beats fresh herbs, these are worlds better than dried. I am always popping them into sautees, soups, sauces and marinades.

i find it funny but my mom keeps them around for cooking and said "they are a good sub for the fresh basil which goes bad before i can use it all"
Like the other posters, I love being able to throw a Basil and or Garlic Cube in a Dish.

I would suggest to try the product because if you like to you Basil in your wet dishes this is a great option as is the Garlic.

These are just terrific! Readily available whenever you need them and perfect portions. I also like the parsley and garlic!

Our stores didn't have these for a long time, and when my freezer supply hit zero (I usually keep at least 2-3 packages on hand) I nearly cried! How could I go on without this stuff??? Thankfully, they finally restocked, and life can resume as usual. Whew!

I cook a LOT of Italian food and naturally it calls for basil, but I never know what to do with leftover fresh basil once I've used what I needed. It usually goes to waste. These frozen cubes solve all that - they're pre-chopped, perfectly portioned, and pop right out as needed. How easy is that?
