Citrus Glazed ChickenThis was a complete meal with rice and cashews. It was delicious. The chicken was tender and the sauce was tasty. Very quick to make. It comes frozen.Submitted on 08/25/2006 by maryjane Number of people who have "favored" this: 0 Read all 7 reviews below -OR-Add your own reviewReviews (7)

I don't care for the sauce that this comes with. Just substitute some Very Teriyaki and it's a great meal.

i added more broccoli, and felt that the amount of sauce provided was just right. (kinda too salty without the additional broccoli). oh and i took out the plentiful chunks of red bell pepper since i'm not a fan of those. and didn't add the cashews since they were kind of soft and pathetic... maybe if i had toasted them, they'd have perked up? overall a good dish, and my bf approved too.
My boyfriend and I needed a quick, light meal so made this exactly as recommended except we used the TJ's frozen jasmine rice because it was faster and didn't mess up another pan.
Thought the toasted cashews were a nice touch - ours were plenty crunchy. We loved it! Needless to say, we stocked up next time we were there. byJoitheArtist, November 7, 2007
Not only was this quick to make, but it tastes fantastic! The veggies are crisp and tasty, the chicken is tender, and the sauce is delicious!

I think I am addicted to this product! I usually have a bag or two in my freezer. The best thing is that the veggies are crispy and fresh, not limp and soggy!

The veggies are crisper than I expected, and the white meat chicken is nice. The package says it contains 2.5 servings, which I think is a bit generous - I added some extra rice to stretch it out for two people.

I thought the flavor was okay, but nothing special. But the package says it contains 2.5 servings, and I thought it was skimpy for two people, even after I added half a bag of stir-fry veggies (and that was for 2 light eating seniors). By the time you heat sauce, veggies, and rice separately, you almost might as well cook from scratch.
