These are an easy alternative to take-out appetizers. Though they weren't super crisp out of the oven, they tasted great. The curry flavor, though obvious, wasn't overwhelming. I made these for myself and my husband as a low-key Friday night thing. I'm sure guests would appreciate them too.

When I saw the word "curry" in the description, I was expecting these stix to taste Indian. In fact, they taste like they've got a bit of Thai red curry paste in the filling. Delicious served alongside tofu yellow curry (made with Trader Joe's thai yellow curry sauce.) and rice.

Tasted alarmingly gamy, and the dipping sauce was mediocre. Ended up having to smother them with peanut sauce to make them palatable at all, and even then couldn't finish them. Not recommended.

These are really nice! The poster "Awful" may be mixed up--there is no dipping sauce included. I used oyster sauce and smoked chipotle mayo and both were great.

I like the crunch, and the smell, but the actual taste is not what I would have expected, and was disappointed that they were more sweet than tangy. I realize the curry flavor is not Asian Indian and more of a caribbean so it's sweet, but I would prefer a spicy type instead!

Very strong taste. Could not finish them. Not recommended.

Reading the comments from other reviewers, maybe this product is a hit or miss with people but I love these! They have a great sweet curry taste to them, thanks to the coconut. One thing that would make them better is to have them spicy but either way, very delicious and so easy to make. Cut them in half and put a toothpick on them for great party appetizers!

Try em with the General Tsao Stir Fry Sauce!

Not bad, but it might be better with a dipping sauce included. Bought them without realizing there wouldn't be a sauce with them.

I've still served them and some people do love them. There seems to be very little middle ground. I like the lemongrass ones better, but I think both kinds are gamey.

The lemongrass inside is too strong. It adds a weird tang to it, which makes it almost hard to eat more than 2. If you like weird foods I guess you should try this.

I had these in my freezer for ... I confess ... nearly one year. I bought them and then never cooked them because of some of the negative comments and I was just "off my feed." The other nght I wanted something crispy, and, I've decided to clean out the freezer, so I baked them in a toaster oven. Wow. Fabulous. Not gamey at all. Not too sweet. They came out VERY crispy on the exterior, and soft on the interior. Not too much coconut. Very Thai / Asian flavored. I used TJ's sweet and sour dipping sauce, and this was a winner, even with a year old package.

I heated these up in my toaster oven and they came out a little crispy but not as crisp as I would have liked. The filling was good but a bit too sweet tasting for my personal taste. I will try the lemongrass flavour next time.

i LOVE these, way better than the lemongrass flavor ones (those are too strong in lemongrass) these are just right! heat them up in the toaster oven then set it to broiler to make them xtra crispy, i sometimes cut them up in small pieces and toss them in a salad with peanuts, and cilantro dressing, to die for!

These are very tasty and make a nice side for asian meals.

These are quite tasty. The do not taste too much like curry or coconut. They are a nice, mellow, flavorful taste that goes well as a snack or as an appetizer.

these are okay but i was not expecting such a strong ginger lemon taste, i was expecting more of a curry coconut taste..haha.
