First came the Joe-Joe's. An addiction was born. Then the wiseguys at TJ's struck again at Christmas with the Candy Cane Joe-Joe's. Now they're back with a vengeance, with DARK CHOCOLATE COVERED JOE-JOE's. Beware. If you need a sinful chocolate fix, this is surely it. (Caution: May be too sweet for those who can't handle the excessive chocolatey goodness!)

I love dark chocolate and jo-joes but these aren't anything special to me.
L-O-V-E these! When I saw them at TJ's a few week's ago, I bought one container thinking I'd have them all to myself-- hubby prefers milk chocolate, while I adore dark chocolate. He tried one, though, and he was hooked. A day or two later he'd eaten several (I limit myself to one per day) and told me I definitely needed to buy more. Next time I went I bought two containers and now we're both happy!

These cookies are FANTASTIC!! Just flawless! Now, I do like dark chocolate, but it doesn't taste dark at all - that happens when you pair dark chocolate with something sweet. So even if you don't care for dark chocolate, you should try these. Honest!
I'm with KLK7. Meh. They were not great, not terrible. I think it's because the dark chocolate coating is nothing special. Just tasted hard (in fact, I think it's a little too thick in spot, which is the norm with say, a hand dipped cookie) and not very good quality at that. I took them into work and left them on the community lunch table for everyone else to finish. That's how little I cared.
If it was milk chocolate, it would be a different story. Just don't look at the nutritional facts... (SERVING SIZE: 2 COOKIES?!?! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?)

These are perfect for when I want something sweet and kind of filling. There's lots of satisfying texture to bite into, and the richness usually leaves me happy after just one cookie. I don't want one every day, but they are a reliable treat for mid-afternoon.
I use these to load up on calories before marathons. Tastes better than eating a stick of butter.

They're really, really good.
