Oh, yes, we went there. It was worth it because these crisp, buttery shortbread cookies enrobed in rich, lusciously dark, dark chocolate and a sprinkling of delicately crunchy non-pareils are deserving of playful (though truthful) description. The taste and texture tickle the tongue and leave you feeling like you were treated to something special. And aesthetically, they are just adorable. Perfect for a holiday cookie tray or an everyday treat, our Dark Chocolate Shortbread Stars are $3.99 for a 16 oz. box. [Applause.] The chocolate stars I remember from Christmas Past were more of a graham cookie, these are shortbread and much better. I'm going to buy up several boxes since I expect they will disappear again after Christmas. I brought a box of these into the office over the holiday and they were gone. I had to share because the condition would have been the same if I had kept them at home and I live alone! They are delicious!
