Frozen Green Garbanzo Beans(21 votes) These are the best garbanzo beans I have ever tasted, and so much better for you than the canned because there is no added salt. Just pour some into a microwave-safe bowl, defrost and heat, and then eat! The frozen green garbanzo beans were the best! What happened to these? Sadly they disappeared from my stores, and the crew members don't know anything about them coming back. They were such a healthful snack and great flavor! A nice departure from edamame. I hope TJ's brings them back!

It's now 3 years since I scored a bag of frozen green garbanzos and I still look in the freezer case EVERY week, hoping I'll find them again. Please, please, PLEASE bring these back. I just read that a popular SF restaurant gets theirs from a Fresno grower...bet you could, too!
