Fruit Jellies"Can you improve on a classic? At Trader Joe’s, we believe you can improve on anything. Take our All Natural Fruit Jellies. These are classic soft, chunky, kettle-cooked jelly squares. You know, the sink-your-teeth-in, fruity gummy pieces with a sprinkling of granulated sugar? Yep, those sweet treats. And here’s our twist – we’ve made this archetypal candy with only natural fruit extracts. There are no artificial flavors and no preservatives. Plus, they are gluten free and kosher certified. Enjoy six all natural fruity flavors – orange, blueberry, grape, lemon, raspberry and mandarin. They’re perfect for munching at the movies or as an afternoon pick-me-up. Speaking of pick-me-ups, each 16 oz. tub of All Natural Fruit Jellies is $3.99."-- straight from from Trader Joe's website -- check it out at your local store. If your local store does not carry this, go ahead and complain to the Captain. I want to love these, I really do, but there's something not quite right about them. Even my kids don't flip over them. It's not that they don't like sweets and they love fruit and most things natural, but none of us are thrilled about the texture of them. They're a little too jelly-like and I think we'd all prefer them a little more chewy.

First I want to go on the record and say that I am not the type of person to write a review about candies(in fact I created this account just to write this review), but I feel that I need to after reading LuvMeSomeTJs' scathing review. These candies are delicious. I got these in a package filled with other candies and I have found myself time and time again coming back for more. The texture is perfect. The size is perfect. The variety and flavors are perfect. You know that episode of the Simpsons where Homer goes to a candy convention and steals the Venus de Milo candy that is worth thousands of dollars? Well Trader Joe's has recovered it and it comes in 6 all natural fruit flavors.
