Gluten Free Frozen PancakesI recently purchased Gluten Free Frozen Pancakes at my local Trader Joe’s. These are SO GOOD and only $2.99 for a 16-ounce box of 12. My family enjoys pancakes for breakfast and I was disappointed to learn that I am wheat gluten sensitive. To my delight (maybe after writing letters to Trader Joe’s), they introduced this new product. I like them in the microware or toaster. The cool thing is after eating the pancakes, you actually do not feel hungry 15-minutes after leaving the table. Nor do I get that “mid-morning slump” from the empty calories of regular wheat pancakes (those seem to be mostly air). My kids love them too. I added Trader Joe’s organic maple syrup. They are also good just as a quick snack without any syrup -- Just toast or microwave and dash out the door. Life is good again.Oh yes, they also are dairy free. Even better!! They are DELICIOUS and I don't even need to eat gluten free. I just thought they looked good.

These are really good. The 1st time I got them I made pigs in a blanket with the mango chix sausage and maple syrup. Absolutely delish!

I will add some negatives here, although I like these as a quick fix for breakfast. They are packaged in 3's, hello, most toasters hold 2 or 4 slices. Some of them are mangled/bent and won't fit in the slot without thawing first. Can be a bit gummy, not as fluffy as homemade. 3 stars out of 5.

they have a different texture from regular pancakes, but they're still good especially since they're so quick -- i use my microwave and they're done in under 2 minutes. i like that they're packaged in 3s inside the box because it protects the remaining pancakes from freezer burn (plus it's a good form of portion control).

I bought these because I've been on a frozen pancake kick (so easy to have a yummy breakfast before work), and they taste very good. The texture in the middle of the pancake (usually if they're not quite hot enough)can be a little mealy, but add some light butter and syrup, and these are super good. They absorb syrup like a dream!

I get the fake sausage patties and stick them in the middle of two of the pancakes and dip them in a little syrup and YUMMY they really hit the spot in the morning.

These pancakes are too chewy, though I heated them up in the microwave; you'd probably be better off heating them in a toaster oven. I think the portions are too small for breakfast too.

Just had these this morning. They are softer then other frozen pancakes out there. Perfect finger food for older babies. I agree with the original poster. I also find that they are filling.
could be better. the problem is mostly the texture, kinda gummy, the taste i can live with and after a few times of eating you really cant even tell these from regular frozen pancakes. i would definitely recommend them.

Was really surprised on the quality of these! Very good quick and easy breakfast, light and fluffy, and absorbed the butter and syrup like a sponge! Very good! Wish I could buy them in stock!
