Ground Buffalo Steak Burger
These are really delicious patties made of leaner, gamier buffalo meat. So juicy and satisfying with all the fixin's.

Each package has 4 quarter pound patties of grain fed buffalo raised without the use of hormones or antibiotics.

Trader Joe's also carried precooked frozen Flame Grilled Buffalo patties which are also delicious but very different (more convenient obviously since you can just nuke them for 1 minute.). I think the precooked meat with the patties is finer. It tastes more processed but also gamier...

The meat in these Ground Buffalo Steak Burgers is closer to regular hamburger meat. It's juicier and heartier. So if you are interested in trying a buffalo burger, I recommend you start with these.

I am an employee at Trader Joe's in Folsom California and I have never had a better burger! The meat has a better flavor than ground beef, is a lot leaner, and when defrosted, can add a lot of different flavor and texture to chili ! Please try it !
My kids and I tried the sample offered at the TJ's in San Luis Obispo and our eyes lit up! Xlnt flavor, who would want to go back to regular ground beef after that??
If you are looking for the health benefits of buffalo meat be sure to look for GRASS FED buffalo. Feeding buffalo grain increases the saturated fat and reduces the omega'3 and cla's. Not much better for you than regular ground beef. Lots of great farms out there have 100% grass fed buffalo, the meat is healthy and flavorful. Google grass fed buffalo and you'll have your pick.

These taste the way beef is s'pposed to taste. And so little shrinkage!
We tried these based on the comments I found here and were extremely pleased with the taste and texture. They cooked up fast on the Cuisinart grill and were big enough to satisfy our hunger. I definitely recommend this product.

These are great.More protein than beef, high in fat and iron, may not be suitable for everyone.Very important not to overcook these! They are best cooked no more than medium.

In fact they are 30% fat.
Read the label.

I bought the uncooked frozen burgers a lot when TJ first opened here. they were great, lean and juicy. However, the last couple of times they rendered out a LOT of fat, so I don't know what happened. The fresh buffalo ground meat which is sometimes available in the local supermarket is much, much better. Disappointed.

These are a stable in our house. They make the most delicious hamburgers I've ever tasted. I also thaw and use them in chili or other recipes that call for ground beef. Be sure not to over cook!

This is one of my go-to meals. Tasty, convenient, healthier than beef. One box has 4 patties. For 6 bucks a box, thats a great deal on nice protein.

I cook in skillet with some spray.

Defrost in fridge the night before you want to use.

Love to serve with avocado slices and sweet potato fries. (I love the pre-sliced sweet potato sticks in TJ's salad section)

Also a great item to bring to a BBQ.
