★★★★½
Havarti is a traditional cheese from Denmark. Smooth, with a creamy, almost buttery texture. Mild but not weak. The dill adds a kick. A nice lingering aftertaste rounds out the experience.

I had it with cherries after dinner. I'll see if it melts well enough for an omellette.

Always like to have some around. It gets moldy fast though, like a lot of TJ's cheese products - they seem to have a hard time keeping dairy fresh.
This is a great appetizer cheese with fruit and crackers. I also like it sliced thin on turkey sandwiches.
I don't mind that TJ's cheese don't stay "fresh" as long as other supermarkets (to me that means their products are MORE fresh/healthy b/c they have less preservatives...) I digress, when needing an appetizer for a function I often bring the typical cheese/fruit platter and throw on veggies also... this cheese is always the 1st gone & people ask about it.
