Havarti Cheese with DillHavarti is a traditional cheese from Denmark. Smooth, with a creamy, almost buttery texture. Mild but not weak. The dill adds a kick. A nice lingering aftertaste rounds out the experience.I had it with cherries after dinner. I'll see if it melts well enough for an omellette. Always like to have some around. It gets moldy fast though, like a lot of TJ's cheese products - they seem to have a hard time keeping dairy fresh.

This is a great appetizer cheese with fruit and crackers. I also like it sliced thin on turkey sandwiches.

I don't mind that TJ's cheese don't stay "fresh" as long as other supermarkets (to me that means their products are MORE fresh/healthy b/c they have less preservatives...) I digress, when needing an appetizer for a function I often bring the typical cheese/fruit platter and throw on veggies also... this cheese is always the 1st gone & people ask about it.
