Italian Starter Tomato SauceThis sauce was just introduced in the midwest. It comes in a tetra pack container which is opened by tearing along a dotted line. The sauce is a neutral sauce that is great on its own, but can also be enhanced with other ingredients. I like the simplicity of ingredients, the crushed tomato texture and the sodium is a lot lower than other TJ "seasoned" tomato sauces. I used this sauce on my pizza last week --made with TJ pizza dough of course--and it was good but lacked a little something. Next time I am going to spice it up a bit before putting it on the pizza.

because it's simple, but not just a tinned tomato taste. It's easy enough to add flavour to, and nicely chunky.
