Jaipur Vegetables(40 votes)Rate this listing Anyone that is familiar with Indian Cuisine knows that this is a very common vegetarian entree consisting of many exotic spices, assorted vegetables, chunks of paneer cheese, raisins and cashews. Not owning a microwave(i know...) I am quite fond of the style of warming up this dish, makes me notice how far we come by being able to use boiling water as a heat source. For not having to freeze it or any type of special storing, this dish was alright, although it was missing the raisins. Indian food tends to be very spicy, but in the attempt to make it more acceptable to our blander palates it is noticeably milder. Makes a quick light emergency lunch especially if you're tired of the usual bean base burrito filling, try this for something out of the ordinary. Or an almost-authentic dinner along with some sort of homemade aromatic rice, Naan(which TJ"s also carries) and some sort of chutney. Submitted on 03/16/2006 by spex

Even my Indian veggie friends said the TJ Indian food in the pouch are pretty good (they take it on family trips).
The Jaipur Vegetables is my favorite, I found the other flavours too spicy. I sometimes use it as a base sauce, adding more TJ frozen veggies or some cooked chicken breast. bykalikaliente, November 29, 2007
good but i have a spicier palet so this is a bit bland, i typically serve this with soy pita bread and balela (middle eastern chik pea salad)
This is probably my favorite of the Indian packets. What is not to love with paneer cheese and cashews in one dish? This is good enough to serve as is over rice.
