Lara Bar - Ginger Snap FlavorLara Bars are different because they're made with totally raw foods, and they don't have the soy found in other bars. If you like ginger, this Ginger Snap flavor is fantastic. It's dense and nutty too.Submitted on 03/19/2006 by nancoix Number of people who have "favored" this: 0 Read all 10 reviews below -OR-Add your own reviewReviews (10)

The Apple Pie Lara Bar is amazing - perfect sweetness, touch of cinamon and gives me so much energy! I eat one before I walk to the gym.

I like nutrition bars, but man, this is like biting in too a brick of solid ginger - just way to overpowering. Good if you want to clear your sinuses. I like all the other flavors though especially Cherry, Apple, and Chocolate.

There's not much nutrition value to this-it's high in calories for such a small bar, and there are limited vitamins and minerals. The only plus is "healthy fats." If you must have a Lara Bar, take the Cherry Pie.

I tried the Cherry Pie and a nutty one (can't remember the name) and those were good.

I like the fact that they are made with healthy ingredients and my daughter eats these every day. She has food allergies which can be quite limiting, but she LOVES the cherry pie and the cashew bars. Sometimes she chooses to have them for a dessert.

I've purchased these pricey bars at Costco in the past, by the box. They are very good but are they really good for you? I know it's all 'raw' but I found them to be a too sweet. And they are extremely filling. I think that one of the Lara bars and a bottle of water would be a meal. I don't think they should be eaten as a snack. Very rich. All the flavors are delicious.

We use these for cycling. A great start to a ride, a good pick me up to keep from bonking and another great end to the ride when you need to replenish after many miles. Besides the flavor, the thing I like best about Lara Bars is they have NO CRAP in them, just a few basic ingredients.. a rarity in today's marketplace of adding everything but the kitchen sink to a product High calories, yes, consider you're eating a candy bar for your daily intake of calories, but MUCH better for you, ingredient-wise. If you can, save them for a high-activity day and them have one guilt-free!

Hi, can i get larabars at TJ?

Better like ginger to like this flavor! I do. And ginger has many health benefits. What I like about these bars is its not packed with refined sugar like so many of the other energy bars. Mainly raws nuts and dried fruit. Which means lots of Omega 6 fatty acids, potassium, vitamin E, riboflavin, b6, magnesium, etc.
I keep these in my drawer at work also and nibble on 1/2 bar if I feel a slump or junk food craving coming on. Not my favorite flavor of the Lara bars, but still good. byflanker, June 12, 2008
I like the ginger but the lemon ones are my favorite....they go great with a cup of coffee.
