Mandarin Orange Chef Sauce
This sauce is scrumptious! It's very tangy, the sweet orange flavor is offset by the assertive ginger. The flavor combination gives it a very Asian flair. It can be used for stir frying, basting, grilling or as a marinade. I used it as a dipping sauce for fondue and it was especially excellent with chicken breast. All natural ingredients, fat free and only 40 calories per 2 TB serving.

This is also great served over a piece of broiled/grilled salmon. Also try mixing some with mayonaisse, to taste, and make turkey sandwiches. Very addictive!!

I used this as a base for another stir fry sauce. It has great flavor and is a good mix-in with other flavors.

I tried this by simmering some turkey meatballs (as suggested by another member) and serving over brown rice. I found it to be a little too sweet for my taste. Added a little soy and chili sauce and it helped a little.

I really like this sauce but to make it better I add a diced shallot to it in the food processor or blender along with a spoonful of fresh orange juice. Delicious this way!
