Mango SalsaThis salsa has just a little bit of a bite to it, but it goes beautifully with grilled chicken or fish. I don't eat meat but it would probably be great with that, too.Submitted on 01/28/2006 by gramnome Number of people who have "favored" this: 0 Read all 8 reviews below -OR-Add your own reviewReviews (8)
Even judged against restaurant mango salsa, this is the best I've ever had.

I use it as a condiment with my chili. Delicious.

I personally love hot salsa but this salsa was not as hot as I was expecting. I am still addicted to this great product. I've used it as a marinade on chicken, pork and beef. My personal favorite it using it as a topping on top of burgers. Give it a shot, you won't be dissapointed.

one of my favorite salsa's when i'm in the mood for something a little less spicy and a little fruity. I love it with chips and I also looove it in salads or on top of chicken or fish.

my favorite salsa at TJ's. Sometimes I even eat it by the mouthful! Tastes good with anything really!
My second favorite salsa is TJ's peach salsa.
the mango adds the perfect amount of sweetness and the spice makes it 'salsa'-y in just the right way. great as a snack with chips or paired with fish

I really like these on veggies or chicken. They're a bit too sweet for chips though, at least for me.

I used to get the peach salsa and was panic stricken when I got to the store that day and found out it was discontinued. TJ's tends to do that.
But alas! They did not leave me empty handed. The ever so friendly TJ's clerk pointed out the Mango Salsa. I picked up the colorful jar and as to hide my freaking out I said coolly, "Oh. OK, I'll try it. Thanks." With jittery hands, which of course was just from the free coffee sample mind you, I placed it in my basket. Now days, if I don't have a jar of Mango Salsa in the cupboard as back up, it's cause for alarm. Or at least a trip down to my local Trader Joe's. |
